I looked at the truck. It's been sitting the woods behind the owner's house for over 20 years. All the glass is still in it, so the cab is actually in pretty good shape. Actually the truck is complete and not in as bad of condition as I expected. Needless to say we stuck a deal. The owner's son is putting wheels on it today so it can be winched onto the trailer to bring it home tomorrow. First order of business will be to strip the frame and check it's condition. If found useable, I'll box it and prep it for a 9.25 axle and IFS. Engine mounts for a Gen III and trans mount for 46rh trans. This will be traditional street truck (hot rod) running one of my Gen III engines. I'm super excited to get this project started. I'll most likely start calling it a hemi truck when the mounts are installed... stay tuned... lol
