It is difficult if not impossible to obtain a truly 100% American-Made vehicle in today's world. Recently a commentary from the Wall Street Journal cited an article found through Cars.com listing those that were closest to 100% American-Made in the most recent years. They used labor and parts as the primary criteria which must have been at least 75% or more American.
The current rankings according to the WSJ were:
(1) Ford F-150
(2) Three groups of Toyotas
(3) Some Honda models
(4) SRT Viper @ close to 100%
... I don't know where the Nissan plant that we visited during the 10th Anniversary HTC Rally last month was categorized?
Obviously many other parts and assembly labor are in America but apparently when the final vehicle rolls out of the plant - they are still less than 75% American-Made .
