As yet, the new Ogre has not spun the tires.
It got plenty of go on the downshifts but not much on the take off.

Because of?? 4X4-355 gears, Old man driving ?
I haven't done a Brake torque start. Still all stock. Workin' on a Cai.

My 4x2 with 3.55s lights 'em up (with a brake stand). They spin pretty well without the transmission strain. I wonder if the better rear suspension is giving you more grip.

The CAI isn't going to affect that much either way. That combined with a freer-flowing exhaust might have some effect. CAIs alone just don't add that much. An e-fan will add some off-the-line jump.

I imagine your LSD is holding you back. Granted I'm a reg cab, my open diff w/3.55's can lay down a good bit of tread if I don't watch it. Now maybe don't do this on busier streets but kill the Traction control and see if that gets you what you're looking for.

Thanks for the input guys. I usually don't make any noise around the city at all. I don't street race either. Just like to hear a little squeek now and then.

Mine has LSD. Still lights 'em up. I even get a bit of a hip-wiggle from time to time.

Turning the Traction Control off will definitely make a difference.
