At work and a pic of my Dakota popped up on the screen and this is what got me into HEMI. It was an 05 Dakota with 54,000 on it, 4.7L auto 4x4
The girlfriend was on her way to school on 2/17/12 when she hit a really bad patch of black ice and was unable to recover from the skid, hit a bank and rolled the truck, she walked away unhurt but the truck wasn't lucky enough to survive. I do kinda miss my kota but I love my hemi.

Looking at the pictures again and I would say, "Give me some bondo and I can make it look brand new!" It shouldn't had been a write-off....j/k'g

One of the reasons I drive a Ram is their survive-ability. But the HEMI makes it fun.

If I could have afforded the buy back at the time, we joked about cutting the roof off and making it a yard truck

Wow! It's a testament to Dodge's safety that your girlfriend walked away from that.

I know what you mean....that's the reason I drive a Dodge period....survivability....My son wrecked his Dakota RT 2 weeks after he got his license. Most people don't see how he walked away with just a cut and some bruises...

Nothing salvagable on the truck except two wheels, the interior and the drivers door?
