You really wanna know?
Does this answer your question???
OUT WITH THE OLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AND IN WITH THE NEW!
NO CHARGE from the dealership because he didn't flash anything!
Course I ended up doing most of the work - like 99%...
The whole install was really easy except the part where you need itty bitty skinny as all hell hands to get behind the cluster to unplug them, mine DON'T FIT! LOL
You don't really need that special tool others have posted to use to help take your dash apart as long as you are super careful where the clips are located when you pull them free, the rest is basically a cross tip screw driver and one small socket - I think it was a 4 or 5 mm?
One thing I noticed too, you'd be surprised on how much dust and dead bugs end up BEHIND your covers and cluster! LOL
I had to exchange the simm card from my cluster to the SRT10 one, after that the stupid alarm horn/flashing lights stopped and that little red light that flashes for that special key that SRT10's have stopped blinking too.
The guages all work perfectly and I don't really care that it says SRT10 on it now..
Oh.. one minor thing?
You need to make sure that you get used to the change in the speedometer needle position and how fast you are going..
Ummm.. I kinda forgot and found myself doing near 100 cause I was used to the other one..
There are only 2 downsides on this install, the cluster does not show my proper milage but I did record the actual milage when I pulled the other one out and wrote it down to keep with the truck, other thing is that the 4x4 light does not come on, but not worried about that...
All I can say is..
