No joke! I found that out when I installed my billet overlay. Although I did figure out a way to turn the cluster that made it at least twice as easy, but I can't remember how that was...lol.

very nice. Personally I would find any dodge dealer and pay to have it set to the correct milage.
You might also be able to find a speedo shop that can fix it for you as well.

I'm going to do that Bill, I know it looks great to have only 16k miles again but not only because they can find out by hooking up to the PCM, I'm not that kind of person, I plan to check around and see what I can find out. I don't wanna have to take it out again and ship it to Dodge Central and wait 2 to 3 weeks to get it back and go through all that again. If I do take it out again, it will only to be to change the dash lights to led's - and yes there is one behind the SIM card holder.

Looks great And I had to pull mine a few weeks ago and I hear ya about having to have skinny hands. I ended up having my new one recalibrated by a local speedo shop, took all of 40 minutes to pull it all apart, calibrate, and re-install, not bad at all.

Yep, mileage is stored in the PCM; and not in the cluster.

I went to the local stealership to get my new module calibrated for the correct mileage; but they have to keep your truck, so that they can pull the module and send it off to be calibrated. Dealers are no longer allowed to do this, due to the laws on mileage roll back of vehicles.

I did not find out how long this would take to get accomplished; and thus how long I would be without the truck. Until my kids are back in college next month, I can't be down to one vehicle.
