tires

I have question. I know these trucks 1500 come stock with 4 ply tires but wanting to go heaver all terrain tire and can only get a 10 ply what do you all think? In not going any larger in tire but I want to keep my ride 275/60/20
I went from stock on the 2004 up to a 305 55 20 with a leveling kit on it and ran 10 ply and was fine but what people are saying with the coils it will ride like crap its a 2011
Thanks I just got to get these Goodyear's off
thinking about going with these

Question

I've been told just the opposite - that the coil spring trucks ride better than our old leaf spring Gen. 3 trucks .

Another Question before I bite the bullet and order tires I want to go with the 10 ply but I have a concern on the TPMS. With the 4 ply stock pressure and the 10 ply the pressures are different is that going to be a problem?

do it, worth every penny. i had no luck with factory tires. the day i bought my new truck i had 8ply bfgs put on it.coil suspension rides better than any other truck iv had.tire pressure monitor wasnt really an issue for me, i just found the pressure that worked best, in my case 42 psi. pretty sure the dealer can reprogram the system if you wanted.

TPMS sensors can be reprogrammed. Most tire stores can do it.

This summer I'm getting new American Force wheels and Nitto Ridge Grappler tires. The ridge Grapplers I'm getting are 10 ply tires (325/60R20) and have a max psi of 65. I think I can change the TPMS with my Diablo i3 programmer. If not I'll find out how, I'm not worried. I'd say go for it!!

Dodge sensors need no programming unless replaced they learn location on startup. Main thing is as long as your tire pressure is above the minimum factory spec the light will stay out on startup. If you run the 8ply set to around 45psi any more and they will start to feel stiff like they actually are. Also tire lights usually come on with low pressure 10 under minimum setting or 15% variance between tires
