I hate to sound like a know it all, but this being my area of expertise.

I have snakes as big and bigger then this one in these pics, and there is no way on gods green earth this snake is going to be able to get past the shoulders of a human that size. A child most likely would be a tough task but could happen.

I wont go into a long boring explanation about the snakes anatomy that wont alow this to happen, or the fact that this snake must have been caught and killed minutes after eating this guy, and judging by how far down the lump is it was a long time. In which case that body would be seriously Yucky from the acid in the belly.

Im sure there are people in my field that are of oposite thought.

Sorry to be such a nudge but I get riled up when Pics like this hit the net. It only makes people fear snakes more and causes more unnecessary killing of the snakes people run into.

Just my 2 cents

Now back to your regular viewing.

Pics are said to have been taken 1 hour or so after the snake swallowed the person. From the looks of it, it was a child about 10-14 years old, but I could be mistaken

Ummmm....I don't really fear snakes or anything from stuff like this. And actually I enjoy watching specials on them. Just watched the 7 deadliest snake special the other night. I have see shows though where snakes have swallowed quite large 4 legged animals. I would think a human, especially of teenage stature wouldn't be THAT difficult. Heck, I have even seen shots of them swallowing crocs or gators. I would think that would be a little more of a task for an Anaconda than a 100lb. human. But I am not the expert. Just the way I see it.
