terminator - on the 23rd I posted "Try sending a PM to "392STU" - Stu might have additional phone numbers or perhaps could call Scott for you. Good luck Sir!" on your first post... did you have any luck getting hold of Stu? This message has been edited. Speed shops are not like walmart.......you can't just buy something and expect it right away.

They're probably waiting for cam cores....and then it takes time to grind them to spec.

Don't assume you are first inline......there are most likely other customers waiting for parts before you.

I waited a long time for my parts to come in....and then waiting longer for block and head machining. No big deal....but that's the reality of the performance world

be patient

Stu is no longer with the hemi shop AKA PR&D. Scott's the sole owner now.

"...over 2 months" does sound a bit excessive, even for a small-time speed shop.

I guess, I was a gone a long time!....Slammin Ben Affleck and all

I waited a little over 2 months (including shipping time)for a custom grind cam from Frank Racing...which seems to be the norm for custom grinds from anywhere...at least around here it is.

You can go to local speed shops and buy cams off the shelf though for small block chevs....those have been in abundance for the last 20 years. usually sold as 325 or 250 horse cams from edelbrock, comp or crane
