I personally know the last time I went through Texas, their highway systems can put much of the nations interstate systems to shame. Yeah, I would 85 it and then some without fear the road coming apart under the tire. It's those pesky armadillo speed bumps that might be the problem going that fast.

The last time I drove in Texas the day light speed limit on I-20 was 85... The night speed limit was 65...

I don't know why all the big whoopdie doo about this? NO ONE drives the limit anymore (unless the police are on your back bumper) so why bother to mention it? LOL

Oh sure, this will be the highest POSTED speed limit though....
