In 1969 when I was in the Army at Ft. Sill, OK I went to the NHRA Spring Nationals in Dallas where Ronnie Sox whipped up on everyone in the 32 car Super Stock class with this car.

Judy Lilly(Denver) in Division V had a car almost like the one pictured but never was very successful outside of Division V. She was more successful in the Corvette she drove tuned by her husband Lou Lilly. Her next husband Dennis Mauer tuned the Ply. and raced his own car(57 Chevy"The Yellow Cab") which almost always ran for Stock Eliminator.
Talk about a blast from the past

Love it, being from Burlington they were like a hero with us. After I married, I learned my In-laws helped out on the car when they came back from the races.
