Little surprise if you said “No”. For the last few years, Hollywood has produced more bombs than great movies destined to become classics. Ho-Hum…

The last movie I saw in a theater was the latest "Star Trek". I can buy the DVD for less than the cost of the movie and munchies, so I don't go to many theaters anymore. I just bought "Cowboys and Aliens" and "Rise of the Planet of the Apes". Guess I'll watch 'em this week. I think I want to see "J. Edgar", too.

I will admit sitting home watching a so-so movie is a whole lot more appealing to me then paying for an overpriced ticket, overpriced snacks and having some child in the seat behind you kicking your seat. My better half doesn't see it that way

Watched a few Netflix streams in the last week.

Just finished IP MAN and IP MAN 2. Very good movie(s).

Also watched "The Millennium Trilogy"
The Girl with Dragon Tattoo "Men Who Hate Women"
The Girl Who Played With Fire
The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets' Nest "The Air Castle that was Blown Up"

Very interesting.

Wife got me some Blu Rays for Christmas so going to watch one of those tonight. Actually she also got me Roots on DVD so might give that a whirl.

I have just watched the "Outlaw Josey Wales" for the 20th time. it never dates and is a classic for me. As is the "Man who shot Liberty Vallance" and "In the heat of the night" and "The Wild Bunch." Christmas viewing as the rain continues to pour on the parade.
I forgot to mention "Stalag 17" William Holden was the man.
And I have just finished reading Sterling Hayden's story of his battle with life. Always an inspiration to me.
