I've used it several times. The full treatment seemed to improve the idle and throttle response.

The 'structions on the can are pretty thorough: 1/3 slurped into the brake booster vacuum hose on a warm engine (someone will need to keep it wound up - otherwise it'll try to stall). Shut it off and let it sit five minutes. Start it back up and watch the smoke show. You can also put an appropriate amount in the crankcase and let that sit for a short time before an oil change. It's supposed to clean out any sludge or stuff in the oil passages.

I put a can in the gas tank maybe twice a year. I do the intake portion about once a year. I've only done the crankcase thing twice on the Ram.

I checked out their WEBsite and was actually surprise.

Sea Foam

then click Cleaning Varnish and Carbon Deposits - Fuel Injected Engines.

I always pour some in my gas tank on fill-up (Edit > ) every 6 to 8 months. That was all I figured I needed to do...

I have never used this product. IMO, if it was concentrated enough to actually do what it says it will do it couldn't be sold over the counter. I don't believe in magic formulas.
my 2 cent.

I have heard great things. I am not going to do it myself but have a mechanic buddy that will... It isnt like it is going to do amazing things but even a little improvement for 10 and a 6pack is nice.

Seafoam is an excellent product. Been using it for years. Only works average in the gas tank but when used through a vacuum source to clean the combustion chamber or in the crankcase to remove moisture, free sticking lifters/valves, or as a mild flush it works great in my experience.

I detail how to do it in this thread. No need to have anyone do it for you. Very easy...

I've used it to remove moisture from the fuel tank and as a fuel stabilizer. Put it in any gas that will be stored and in any small engine in the fall and run it to get some through the carb. They'll start like a champ in the spring without draining the gas. Better than Stabil.

Never used it in the intake or oil.

I use it occasionally thru the gas tank.
Once thru the booster. Didn't smoke a lot but some.
