Sad day for me.

I'm sorry to say that I have sold my beloved truck this morning. That truck was an absolute pleasure to own. I will always speak highly of my Ram 1500 Hemi. Besides the tranny going at 85000 miles it never gave me an ounce of trouble. I decided to sell it because the old girl had turned 100000 miles and I never keep a car too much past that. Also the gas mileage was killing me. 13 MPG for a guy that drives over 20k a year was just way too much. I did get fair money for it. I sold her for $14000 with 101000 miles on the clock. Not bad considering I bought her for $14500 3 years ago when she only had 31000. I hope it went to a good home. I was happy to sell it privately since the car dealers didnt want to give me squat for it as a trade in. Problem was it had a bad car fax from the hit and run in the mall parking lot. It had almost $7000 in damage but was all superficial. Mostly just a lot of paint and trim. So now on to my next project. I picked up a brand new Jeep Wrangler today. I love the Chrysler family of cars and trucks so I am hoping that my new donkey will treat me as well as old ThunderRoad did. Thank you all for the years of good advice and community. I hope that one day I will be able to log back on to tell you all that I'm back with a new truck because I really enjoyed this site almost as much as I did my truck.

Please a moment of silence for the loss of my good buddy.

Be well all and enjoy your summer.
