I have an 04 1500 2WD, that I wasn't planning on lowering, but I found these Superior Automotive 2" lowering shackles for about $30, and I figured why not level it out for that cheap? It says they work on the 94+ Ram 1500, but I thought they changed a few things on the rear suspension in 02. If they work, I'm all over it. Anyone got any info or advice? Thanks.

Don't buy them... suspension changed in '02. Contact Duane at 3rd Strike (ad banner in header above) - he can get you a great price!

I had a set of Drop Force 2 to 4" drop shackles on my 04 and they did a pretty good job of dropping the rear end. You loose a little on the ride though. You can see what they did in the signature picture.

Sorry - I wasn't clear on that... I meant don't buy those particular drop shackles... they're not made for your truck year. Buy '02 and above shackles.

After the rear drop, don't forget to adjust your headlights... I learned the hard way after my 3" rear drop... put the highbeams on and aluminated the tree tops

They won't fit. The leaf sprints are different sizes....
