Quick Jack

I have a low ceiling in my shop, so it makes putting a lift in pretty tough. What I've been thinking is to use something like a Quick Jack lift system along with telescoping wheel stands like Belgiumbastard built. This would allow lifting the truck with quick jack and then putting the wheel stands under the wheels and lifting it a little more with the quick jack removed. At this point I'm just looking for alternatives to a post lift. I also have a lead on a used post lift that I guess I could put a lift lock so has not to jam the truck into the overhead.
Thoughts anyone?

In low clearance issue you can use something like this!

KWIKLIFT - The perfect carlift for your home garage or commercial shop

Or like my buddy did he got a lift and cut the trusses where the lift tucked into the roof and where the cab would go and kinda reworked the bracing to make a cavity of sorts

I'm not so keen on that lift. It has restricted access from the sides. It's looking like if I do a lift I'll have modify the trusses. I've spoken to a carpenter about what he recommended and it was inline with what I was thinking. Need to get some money together, seems I've been bleeding.crash lately...lol
