Been married for 35 years now and we've always paid our share of federal taxes, but last year was the first year we've ever had to pay federal tax and it was what we would consider a pretty good chunk. This year was even worse and we had to pay 42% more than last year.

We have no problem paying our "fair share" of taxes, but we do NOT feel it is "fair" to pay for all the scum programs that the U.S. is giving away.

I agree with Clint Eastwood and his . Half time has come and gone and I'm ready to do whatever it takes to fix whatever I can.

Amen, brother! Wouldn't it be nice to have the choice of how we want our tax money spent? Every cent of mine would go to our military.

Dave - I don't know about how we would "want our tax money spent"...I for one would appreciate a itemized receipt. I bet if light was shed on some of the present day spending on "junk", it would knock some sense in the American People.

Oh btw, Steve - "There are two ways to conquer and enslave a nation. One is by the sword. The other is by debt." John Adams 1826

And there is more than one way to place a nation and it's people into debt.

I haven't done mine yet and am afraid to. Stop all foreign aid and give away programs and ur taxes would be cut in less than half.
