One of those times when you kinda go DUHHHHH!!!!!!!!!
Had my son come over today to give me a hand in removing and reinstalling my E cutout..
For some reason I had been having a problem where it wouldn't open or close, couldn't figure out why - thought it had frozen shut.
After my son pulled it out for me I found that the 2 allen hex screws that hold the plate to the electric motor had fallen out - aka LOST...
We plugged in the motor and I hit the switch a couple times to make sure the motor worked - it's fine. Ended up walking across the street to the hardware store and bought 2 new screws (same type) with lock washers and put it back together (also gave the butterfly plate shaft a heavy dose of Heavy Duty Amsoil lubricant/protection oil kinda stuff and put it back in, now it's working better than before....
I can now have CHP chasing me all over the roads again!
