Need assistance as my buddies 06 hemi was throwing codes for rear o2 sensors. So we replaced both rear sensors and cleared the codes. Now after 200miles the codes reappeared. WTF. Truck has 65 000 miles on it. Whats next? the cats might be plugged? His motor is all stock. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Did you use new OE sensors or aftermarket ones? Could be a cat problem but they shouldn't go bad with just 65K miles...

What are/were the codes?
ECM or wiring issues are other possibilities.

Isn't emissions equipment covered on factory warranty to 100,000 miles? Worth a try.

Sensors aren't covered by warranty.

What did you use to read the code?
I had a sensor go bad @ 28k and Superchips said it was the drivers side rear. Dealer replaced it,$$$$$, and a week later it threw the same code according to Superchips but the Dealer said it was the front sensor ,$$$$$ again. Less than a year later it thru the code again and I replaced the rear sensor with a Bosch from Murray's and I haven't had it throw one again. I'm at 50k, right now.
