I was hanging out at my dealer today...there were not many '08 Hemis on the lot as compared to models with the 5 liter engines...looks like a sign of the times, no?

Its been rumored that in the next 5-10 years all new vehicles will be required to have some type of turbochargers

I wouldn't despair just yet folks.

Chrysler has way too much into the Gen 3 Hemi to just up and dump it.

And Jimbo Press is a co-President at Chrysler. So the interview he gave Automotive Weekly was a snapshot of his thoughts.

They have just started to R&D this engine on the next level.

It will be around for awhile yet...just watch and see.
