going to post my mistake so no one else follows in my shoes. Within' the last few days I had a Flowmaster 40 installed on my new 2012.
Everything seemed fine until this evening. I took Flo on a little expressway road trip. the droning in MDS is very annoying to say the least. I will be going back to the shop in the am to have my stock Muff reinstalled. Looks like I will have a slightly used Flo 40 for sale when I get back from fishing. My last one was great on my '04. It didn't have MDS.

When I first got mine I felt the same way. However, it seemed my driving habits adjusted to the MDS and the drone settled down and became more like what I was used to.

I had a flo on my '04 and loved it. The difference is the new motor having the MDS. The tones are all over the place and the droning was very annoying. Yours sounds good.

You could always spend more hard earned cash and purchase a tuner that eliminates the MDS.

I could if one was available for the 2012 although I don't mind the 20.5 mpg on the road.
