Michelin Tweel ??

Has anyone seen these yet. I'm just trying to picture a set of these on my RAM....and I just can't seem to find words to describe my feelings other then "I Don't Think So". But have to admit someday there will be "air less tires". No Blow outs making for less roll over accidents.
A side wiew almost makes the tires invisible... That will take some time to get use to!

Michelin Tweel ??

I just saw those in a 4wd magazine. They'd probably have more applications in off-road situations. I would think that they would flex too much to be efficient on the road under high loads/quick acceleration.

Michelin is currently testing them on CARS on the highway. In a side view picture I was looking at of a car moving, it looked like it had invisible tires. From what I read they flex enough to give a quality ride, and there is no "Air Bag" to puncture.

I'd bet they're light as hell.

Michelin Tweel ??

they have them already for bikes, golf carts, and skid loaders. rode in them all and the the skid loder is the roughest but alot better than air tires. some are also regroovable which means after so long you just go back and get a different tread style or anything.
