Hey all,

I have a question. Do they make a larger capacity fuel tank for the 2005 scsb trucks? I have the OEM 26 gal. and looking to upgrade...LOL. Will the tanks from a 2005 QC fit my truck? I understand that I will need to change out the filter and everything in the tank. What about sensors for the gas guage? is that included in the assembly in the tank? Don't ask, I'm just bored and can't sleep...but I am seriously looking into a project to do. TIA all.

My '05 Laramie came with the 34 gallon tank but it is a QC/SB. Somewhere in the old posts I remember a couple of members doing a conversion so maybe they will chime in with an answer. I'm not sure about the room available in your RC !

Yes, Weed and others have done this, but all on Quad Cabs, I'm pretty sure. Not sure if there is enough frame length on a RCSB. If not, perhaps an after-market vendor has something.

It must be the Special Edition Rams. My QC has a 26 gallon tank too. More gas just means more weight!!!!!

Well, another eight gallons would only weigh about 50#. It does cost fuel to carry fuel, but the extra weight might be offset by the extra ~100 miles of range. In my previous life when I was on the road a lot, that extra range would have been useful.

I do like my 34 gallon tank although a fill up with 93 will certainly get your $$$'s attention...
