Angry Just to give you a little idea ..

On how Dodge Dealers really DO try to rip you off........

Back about 2007/8 I had a rock put a small hole in my right fog light/driving light, I never bothered to fix it because it's been working great. Over the last 7 or so years you all know we've been suffering a major drought until this past winter.

I never bothered to take a look at the light - well hardly at all but the other day when all this BS electrical issue started back up again with my truck - I noticed that the inside of the light was turning kinda brownish - from all that dirt and water apparently getting inside.

When I was at Dodge last Monday I stopped into parts to ask them how much a replacement light was going to be, bastards told me $180 + tax.. Gawd.....

So while I was waiting around for my truck I called 2 other dealers and their prices were from $179 to $199.. WTF??

When I got home I went on Ebay and checked and found one, BRAND NEW.. for $28!

Unless it's ABSOLUTELY FLOCKING REQUIRED, I AM NOT!!! Buying a single part again from the dealer!

......... Yea.. that California Old Fart has RETURNED!!!

My local dealer has always been a bandit. What's funny is none of them carry any parts and they have to order them from a central warehouse yet all of their prices are different. They simply makeup ptices is my guess.

Before Souderton Dodge was bought out by big local narcissistic family deal. Moperformance parts were 5% over cost and factory parts were 15% over cost, I won't buy parts from any steelereship, on-line is the way to go with any factory mopar part just have to watch out for shipping.
