Added more pics on page 2, and 3.

Well as I'm sure alot of yall know I'm expecting my first kid in march. So I wanted to build something special for him to have, and this is what I came up with. I know it still looks like poo, but it'll look alot better once it's finished. I've got a pretty sweet paint job in mind for it. I've tried to take a few pics as I've been working on it just to document the process. It's a little boat that will be his baby bed for the first few months. It'll be suspended by ropes from a stand. Here's where I'm at so far..

HA HA, that'll be sweet! Suspended by ropes though? I know a few people that'd have issue's with that for a new born, but who cares, I'm SURE you'll rig it safe and sound. What's this paint idea??

Damn fine woodworking there Heath
I'd like to see more pics when you're finished! That boat will be a family heirloom for generations to come.

Very good craftsmanship!

Definately could be powered by a Hemi!

That's great. He will love, and you will to each and everytime you put him to bed.

Please tell me you’re NOT going to put flames on a work of art such as this.

This is going to be beautiful, there is no doubt after looking over you website some time back, I know how this little heirloom (as Mr Hemi said) is going to turn out.

Very nice Heath
Very nice indeed.

What’s the problem with the ropes. The kid wont even roll over for months you think he is going to start climbing the ropes to get out? Well………it is Heaths…….he will be looking for the keys to the Hemi.

oh BTW Love the tool box sticker
