Prayers needed for some PGR members. Received this today (copied and pasted directly):
This happen today in Indiana keep our brothers and sisters in your prayers. I copied and pasted this from the IPGR fb page.
Special thanks to all that attended the airport escort of Spc Robert J. Tauteris. The dignified transfer at the airport was anything but breathing taking with all that was saw today. On behalf of the Family & military personell there there tank you all for all that you make happen.
On the escort we wittnessed an accident on US30 in the oposite flow of traffic. What I about to tell you ended up being nothing more than a miricle.
While on the escort a pickup truck hit a jeep in the rear end at highway speed sending the jeep into a semi. The jeep bounced off of the semi, burst into flames & then traveled across the median into our lanes of traffic right in front of our escort.
Police & Patriots ran to the vehicle that was engulfed in flames, broke out the windows & pulled five people from this burning vehicle including two small children. Patriots after pulling the vehicle occupants out of the fire had to extinguish there burning bodies with snow. Patriots made sure the vehicle occupants were taken care of when we noticed our members were also hurt saving these peoples lives. I believe we had ten that suffered injuries ranging from cuts, burns & smike inhiliation. As of right now all have been released from the hospital with the exception of three. Those three were taken to Porter Memorial Hospital and are now being transfered to Chicago for smoke inhilation & burns. Those members are Bob Wasliewski, Dan Becker & Larry Lauderdale. Our thoughts & prayers go out to all of those hero's that went to help this family. If it was not for there efforts everyone in that Jeep would have been burned to death.
We did get Spc Tauteris to the funeral home with honor but you all showed what great people you are on mission & off mission.
Let us remember to pray for this family that was pulled from a burning vehicle & pray for all those that rushed in to help a stranger that became injured themselves doing a courageous thing. I stand in awe with all that you have done today.
