I know i said i was getting it last week, but due to the new transmission they put in it running into problems...... My time getting it was delayed. It was on the dyno ready to start being tuned but it was shifting from 3rd early into 4th. But he gave me numbers Saturday and off CA91 659whp, and off of e85 it was pushing 789whp. It might be higher because he added a few more mods to it to prevent the oil from burning so fast. I'll get dyno sheets tomorrow and post the actual numbers then. Good news is its going to average 15-16 mpg highway, which is better than 11-12 stock. So I'm happy. I'm also moving to Michigan tomorrow so fellow members keep me in your prayers, me my soon to be wife her daughter are officially moving out of Cali.

130hp gain by going to e85! LOL! Tell us what mods need to be done to prevent oil burning!?

Ive wondered how that works. I know a lot of boosted imports that pick up a lot of hp by running e85. I just don't understand how.

The octane of e85 is around 105, so it stops knock, and allows you to run more timing. It's especially useful in FI set ups like his. It doesn't do much for stock applications, much like 92 octane doesn't do much for a car that only requires 87 octane.
