if it aint one thing it's another

driving along minding my own business and DING my check engin light pops on.when i got back to the house and ran my scanner on it i had a po405 egr position circuit low truck running normal so i reset it and took it for a run and Ding its back on.reset it again so far nothing??? now it has set for two weeks in the cold and had the normal long crank and backfire in the intake before it started was thinking did i knock something loose and it got into the egr??
The cold start problem.i have tryed everything i can think of to fix this acording to dodge its the temp censer and i did replace that last yr.for that problem and the air flow censer.
If its below freezing it just dont want to start.35 deg up its longer than normal and warm it starts fine it's just below freezing and over night it a problem LONG crank and belching in the intake before it fires up. any ideas on this.plugs only have around 10k on them

Which temp sensor did you replace? Sounds like the air temperature sensor is bad.

The pcv valves will freeze up in freezing temps remove and clean very well and see what it does next day cold

There is also a tsb for a flash that rocks the throttle back and forth just Incase it gets stuck in cool weather (dealer visit)

The egr code is likely a sign of a bad valve the sensor is built in and its a common failure may take awhile to fail again

What is the idea with the shorty wires? Is this the same concept as the 05 and newer dual ignition packs? You eliminate the long wires crossing over the intake and just use the one pack to fire both plugs?

Pretty much one thing a few people har learned is shortys and dual boot could dont work for boosted apps on 03-04 for some reason 06-up its fine not sure why 2005 not sure dot know of anyone that tryed yet

For daily driving they work great and look better too
