It does look a lot like a ford, but why not go after the number one selling truck in the United States? I like the Sport interior a little better that the Laramie. And, Whats up with the Bed Boxes? The fit and finish could have been better. Over all I like it. The Dual Exhaust looks good, no word on performance yet? Hopefully the Spring rear end will help with the Dodge Bounce also.

That is going to take a LOT of getting used to.

When the first radical design change came out in '94 it took a little while to get used to, but generally set the path for future generations to follow. 2003 saw the next generation of change which took a little longer to get used to, now this.

Square fog lights, a rake-ish S-10 lookin' front end, more of a "boxey" look than current design, I almost get the impression that someone with a sharp knife got to the clay prototype while no one was looking - too many sharp corners/edges.

Rear spoiler kinda built-in, although I do like the dual-exhaust tips out the rear. Not crazy at all about the side tool compartments, I think they distract too much from the looks. The interior really does look a LOT like the Ford F-series. What happened to the "2" and "1" in the shift pattern? I see a symbol of some sort on the dash below "Drive" but have no idea what that is.

That massive console between the seats looks overwhelming! I like my '03 with no console. I do like the two storage compartment in the rear floor board.

What about engine choices? That's what really matters to me!

I like the sport. Don't really care for the SLT look on those. Looks all crunched where the sport looks more truck.

I just clicked on the "Related Post" there and here's what they listed about the engine choices:

THIS PART I REALLY LIKE!!!

"Mechanically speaking, the '09 Ram comes ready to play with a new 5.7L HEMI V8 with 380 HP and 404 ft.-lb. of torque (the Toyota Tundra's 5.7L V8 produces 381 HP and 401 ft.-lb. of torque for comparison's sake). There's also a 4.7L V8 available with 310 HP and 330 ft.-lb. of torque and a 3.7L V6 making 215 HP and 235 ft.-lb. of torque. Transmissions include a six-speed manual and four- and five-speed automatics, and gear ratios run from 3.21 to 3.55 to 3.92 to 4.10. When optimally configured, the new Ram can sprint to 60 MPH in a mere 7 seconds. Snappy for a full-size truck, wouldn't you say?

NOW THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKIN' ABOUT!!!

I'll definately drink to that one!

Wow, GREAT FIND! I thought when was first looking the interior that it looked a bit 'ford' but I had no idea it was that close. And a little too boxy for me as well... I see that their 6 spoke wheel has 5 bolts though, so answers a big question of mine.
