This story falls under the title of "Critter Interest" or "Bobcat vs. Rattlesnake". Now finding a rattlesnake, within any moderately populated AZ city limits, is really not that uncommon. A few years ago, I found one "coiled-up" in front of an auto parts store located within Peoria (AZ) (pop. 163,000). It was early in the morning, so fortunately there was no high amount of foot traffic going around. A bobcat? That's another matter altogether. They're skiddesh creatures with one odd exception. There is a family of them making the rounds in North Scottsdale (AZ) and really taking-in life a little easier (easy meals). To set the scene, North Scottsdale is one of the "Yuppie Meccas" in the country. It offers an abundance of golf courses and desert hide-aways, where this family of bobcats hang out...No kiddin'! Case in point > Read Here (and I really wished AZ Pete, bottom, had kept his photos up longer, showing them napping in his backyard furniture). SO! Just so you know after viewing the following video and reading the following story and start wondering "What the heck is a rattlesnake and a bobcat doing in someone's backyard(?)"...Well there you have it! ^^^ Link to the Video & Story...
