Well been without my Hemi since August. Worried a little about the winter but averaged like 60 degrees here..lOl. Unusually warm winter. I think under 10" of snow in about 20 flurries....hah. But My heart is with the hemi. I have considered the older Offroadsters but just loved my Hemis. Especially my 03. Might have to consider a third before next winter. Should have my house wrapped up pretty good and my van paid down quite a bit by then. Plus. Could probably find a decent mileage 03/04 for really cheap too...we'll see. Too much goin on right now to have another project.

IMO, if you don't have experience with a 03 then I would recommend a 04 and up. If you plan on modding it then there are trucks that pop up that have a lot of work done to them already. Usually these trucks get sold relatively cheap for the work that has been done. Of course you are taking on problems associated with it nolonger being stock. But if you know your trucks these problems can be fixed relatively easily. Planning ahead is a great way to find a good deal. Good luck...

Absolutely, I wouldn't give up my 03. But saying depending on what a person wants to do with his/her truck it might be easier to go with a 04 or newer truck.

I prefered my 03 over my 05 but not sure i wouldever do enough to it to worry about the differences in tuning. I am a smart shopper usually. Bought an 05 for 15k drove for two years and sold for 18k....
