Not sure if I should plug the second intake tube or not. By the looks of it, it goes about half way down. The manual says with it plugged it increases air flow by 30%. Unplugged it increases by 38%. It does say to plug it in extreme heat. Do you think this is something I should worry about? I guess some think it will take in hot air being so close to the engine.

That's a good looking intake. I'm a little jealous. I want one or a Vararam, but just don't have the funds right now. I would say plug it. Air is going to take the path of least resistance, so I'd plug the big easy hole and force it to pull from the fender.
