Today I received a new Dewalt miter saw stand I bought online. Got a great price and free shipping. It is a nice product. However, it came via FedEx. Once again some of their gorillas mishandled my shipment and when I opened the box I discovered one of the extension arm plastic locking levers was broken. I already ordered a replacement part from Dewalt. The shipping on the replacement part is more than the part! It burns by butt because FedEx damaged another shipment I received a couple of years ago.

FedEx sucks....The gas cap Mark (tui) ask about, and I happen to have had cost $61.66 to ship it to New Zealand by FedEx. UPS wanted $63.76. Our snail mail was $9.23. Those two companies have gotten way out of line...
If I were you I would file on FedEx for the damage.

FedEX and UPS, 6 of one, half dozen of another. I've had them both destroy stuff in the past. Last time it was UPS. I shipped out a set of rare VW headlights, and they cracked the frame in half. I got my money back for the shipping, but the headlights went in the trash heap. It was sad.
