Any good company recommendations? Especially, companies that will cover the weakest link on these trucks...

Your best bet is take the money you'd spend on the warranty and put it in the bank. If you need it for repairs, it'll be there. If you don't need it for repairs, it'll STILL be there.

Exactly, if they weren't making money on these do you think they would be selling them?

I agree with Mike..... Things that you are most likely yo need the coverage for aren't going to be covered beyond the manufacturers warranty anyway unless you pay through the tail.

I got the 8yr/80k mile extended warranty when I bought the truck. Everyone says its a waste of money but I had the tranny rebuilt and one of the front axle hubs replaced and the pinion seal replaced at 68k. Well over the 1200 it cost. Only paid 200 for the deductible.

Yup, its a gamble, you could come out ahead, but chances are you won't. Warrenties are designed and sold to make money on, not to be nice to the customer.

True enough. I've bought six or seven over the years. Got my money's worth out of three. The rest was wasted money.

I considered one on the last three vehicles. Turned them down, fortunately. Neither the Ram, Mazda, or 300 have needed that kind of work.
