D-Day June 6th The anniversary of the Allied invasion of Europe. They stormed the beaches of France to defeat Nazi Germany. Thousands of brave Americans gave their lives in the defense of freedom that day and on until the end of WWII. Please take a moment to remember and honor them. Very soon now all of the survivors will have passed on.

The beginning of the liberation of Europe.
I would not be here today if not for the success of all those brave men and woman from our greatest generation.

I suspect a great many of us could say that. The current generation has no idea. 'Course that's a good thing in a way.

I have a feeling the next World War won't last but a day or two.
