Not knowing where your mileage is, I am going to list them to be serviced, to both front and rear differential at 36,000 miles – 54,000 miles – 72,000 miles – 90,000 miles – 108,000 miles – 126,000 miles – 144,000 miles and so on.

Front differential/axle, hopefully yours is 1500 Ram with a C205F, requires 1.60 liters or 56.00 ounces (or 3.5 pints). This unit requires GL-5 SAE 75W-90 (MS-9763) or equivalent.

Rear differential/axle, again hopefully a 9.25” limited slip, requires 2.10 liters or 72.00 ounces (4.5 pints). This unit requires Mopar Synthetic Gear Lubricant SAE 75W-140 (MS-8985). Limited Slip requires the additive of 118 ml (4 ounces or .25 pint) of Mopar Limited Slip Additive or equivalent < I personally would add this first then gear lube while checking at 4.2 or 3 since the owner’s manual is in a gray area as it states it needs and not as an additional (see below).

All work to be done on a flat level surface and fluid level on the front differential/axle should be even with the bottom of the fill hole and the rear differential/axle should be 5/8” below the fill hole.

That’s all I got!

Some aftermarket diff covers are deeper than the stock one also. Which could add to the capacity.
