Earlier today i met a friend of ours mom who owns a shop!! I noticed she was driving a Ram so i asked her what year it was she said 08. I then asked because i was'nt sure if its a Hemi she says yeah and i'm like wow its quiet for a hemi mine ticks like crazy.. She says oh no its the 4.7 i been in the auto industry for 30yrs i know those 5.7's have the ticking problem!!

Really?? I can't even get into the auto industry and heres a person 30yrs into it thinks she got a 4.7 Hemi!

even more funny.... just about all the 4.7L dakota guys call theirs "semi-hemi's"

Not surprising. I've had people at NAPA tell me the 4.7 is the Hemi and there is NO 5.7!

Here's the 4.7 head. I'd call it a canted valve wedge.

No, he's in his 30s or 40s and was looking at the computer. Come to think of it, I've never seen the nose-ring, pants-on-the ground look at any of the places here.
