No worries Chris - and we're very glad you're back with us! There is an incredible number of people in the world with some level of depression... just be sure to get the proper meds and after awhile you'll be feeling just fine!

Remember - it's just a chemical imbalance... that can be rectified

Welcome back, Chris.

Hang in there, man. This is treatable and you will feel better once it is tended to.

Glad to have ya back Chris! You aren't alone. This time of year for some reason is the worst for depression. I never understood why. It should be an easy time but it sure isn't. This summer was a bear for me. There is always someone here willing to listen if you need to talk. PM's are a good way to vent and still maintain some privacy if you need it.
Depression is kind of alcoholism...You can't treat it until you recognize there is an issue.

Two more...

Chris -

Please understand first; you should never be scared to discuss your depression. It's better to let it out than to hold it in. Especially to a medical professional that needs to know everything about you and how you hurt (Yes, depression can become very painful and holding it in or skipping some details can make it worst).

Second; If you believe it's important to you to discuss this with family and friends, then please do so. It can become a cleansing to you and if they are truly close family and good friends they will stand with you and help you through this.

I hope the best for you...You're in my thoughts. Take care!!!
