1 less Hemi in the house

Kate traded her 300C today on this.

After 13 years and 110K, it was time. No more 89 to buy.

Great choice. April loves her Rav4. I really like it too.

It just hit me: all the members of the stable came from the same dealer.

That would take a sizable amount of mods, I suspect.

We drove it from Tally to Ft. Collins, CO back in October. Good mpg until we left Hays, KS. 50 mph headwind and an indicated 85 mph gave an airspeed of 135. Every time the wind gusted, the tach jumped WAY up. That tank was 16 mpg!. Still, it rode great and used little gas.

I had estimated the total trip mileage at 5,000 including a "side trip" to Devil's Tower, Wyoming, Mt. Rushmore and the Crazy Horse memorial. When Kate and Mary got back, it had covered 5,025 miles. Bought gas in Custer, SD - $3.40 for 87!

Kate & I left Keystone, SD in 16 degrees and 1 1/2" of snow. Blowing snow most of the way back to Ft. Collins. Never above 18 degrees for the next week. Man, was I glad to get back to Florida!
