Hello from Northern California!

I’ve sold my ‘04 all-black Ram 1500 and ‘04-‘05 Rumble Bee is my ‘Next Project’.

I want to do an engine swap with a compatible (pre-2013?) 392 Hemi and read an old 2014 post here that it was an ‘easy swap’ (post by ‘Fasthemiram05’ I think ...). I have a local custom shop willing to do the work and (so I don’t have to spend $$$ to have them start from scratch and ‘reinvent the wheel’) would like to find out what such a project involves (tranny too? Rewiring and new electronics? etc.).

I know this would be a ‘big bucks‘ project and that there are other better ways to gain power (which is not really my goal) and wouldn’t really be ‘worth it’ dollar wise ... still I want to go ahead with it ...

Any thoughts? Any leads? Any ‘You need to call ___ ?

Thanks!

Buy a regular cab, 6 speed Viper truck. Overall, you wont spend as much money and be much happier driving it. They retain most of their value too.

Welcome to the world of Hemi..
I suggest you change your name. Having your email address out there can have some results you are not expecting.
Anyway, welcome to the HTC.
