07 ram 1500 with loose front suspension question

Welcome to the HTC, Coach Bob. I know you have tried to be as specific as possible, but you haven't really narrowed the problem down aside from locating it somewhere in the front steering/suspension. A bad alignment job may cause some of the symptoms you describe. Or, it could be a single support bracket for your front differential. There's a lot that can go wrong w/ IFS. I'd recommend getting under there, hit all the bolts with red Loctite, and reassess after driving it for a while. BTW, the Dodge IFS is VERY sensitive to modification and will be a PITA to align properly if the suspension geometry has changed.

While what you say is correct Freeze, I don't see where he said it was a 4wd? One thing a lot of people fail to check is the sway bar end links. With as many parts being changed out as he says, the bushings in that may be messed up. But, like you said, need a lot more information as to what exactly it is doing before you could diagnosis it. Virtually any vehicle will feel loose going over washboards.....
