With being in the 13s, I needed to find myself a helmet. And as some of you may know, they are required to be Snell 2005, which are usually very pricey. I don't need a helmet for anything else...so I could really care less what it looks like or how comfy it is. After much research on the web, I found a place that sells them reasonably priced. http://typhoonhelmets.com/inde...tegory_id=9&Itemid=4 Thought I would share with you all...help some of you save some money. Ordered mine today.

THX Kyle

I may get mine there also if I can figure out what size I need. I have a big head. I know that surprises everyone.

No problem Nathan. They do have a sizing chart on there but you would have to measure your head. Do you know what hat size you wear? I can tell you your helmet size from that.

A semi loose measurement = 25-3/4"

(semi loose = not drawing it tight)

On the website page, on the right side there is a link for helmet sizing. It tells you exactly how to measure. According to the measurment you provided...it is larger than a XXL.

that's cheap, i use one of my old motorcycle helmets. Never looked to see if it is 2005 SNELL approved or not. It does have a DOT approval sticker on it...
