Thanks guys, appreciate it.

Have considered a ProCharger but don't know if I can bring myself to do it. More then likely I would do a high compression 449 aluminum based stroker for the next step.

I feel the same way yeah you can make a lot of power with a Procharger or Turbo, but in the end there is something satisfying about being able to say , "Yeap it's all motor".

and if that QC weighs in where most other weigh in at that's some Nice NA HP your making.

Think about this. That truck with a big turbo/turbos and just 7-8psi boost. Daaaam!!! That truck would be fast as hell!

With a large a/r exhaust turbine and housing, it wouldn't spool off the line. But, it would come in strong in second gear when the engine is already at high rpm's. You wouldn't have to change the engine cr with a large slower spooling turbo. Spool up speed can also be controlled by the size and length of the turbo hot side as well as the boost side. Keith's truck is a good example. He has 10.5:1+ cr 392 with a S475 turbo. His hot side is long tube headers going into 3" Y pipe and 3" pipe going int the turbo. You could even have a rear mount turbo/turbos. Twin S475's. You might have a big traction problem though...
