Next up is Thad in his 2014 Crew Cab 2wd with 8sp Transmission. Thad ran a 12.84 @ 105.83MPH. This truck is very impressive for his minimal mod list...

Travis has made a few tune tweaks, and Thad has now added an 87MM throttle body and exhaust cutouts. Both will be back to the track this coming week, so hopefully they will knock these times down a bit more.
Tuning is very important, but these 2 trucks are fast because those guys do what it takes to put up the numbers. Both trucks are prepped to race with no tailgate, spare, back seat, passenger seat, or front swaybar. They also have perfected how to manually shift which is very important to running fast in these 4th gens.
The 12.6 truck has nitrous ready to go in the truck. His goal is to beat the all time 4 door N/A 5.7 record first which is a 12.56. He is almost there, and might even see that number this coming week as we are going to be running in some better air. Once he beats that 12.56, then he will hook the bottle up and shoot for 11's.
The white truck has asked about nitrous, but is nervous about using it. I think he is just going to keep chipping away at his times with bolt ons for now. He installed his new ported throttle body and exhaust cutouts today, so I'm hoping we see a high 12.6 to low 12.7 from him this Friday.
