I went out today to test the nitrous for the first time, and was pretty happy with the results. I made a baseline run on motor to see what I was working with since stepping down to 4.10 gears, installing colder plugs, and puling some timing to play safe with the nitrous. Motor pass was a 12.32 @ 106.75MPH.
Next up, I put in the 50 shot jets, and ended up running an 11.88 @ 110.50MPH with a 1.54 60'.
Everything felt good, so I stepped up to a 100 shot for the next pass. Ended up running my new best of 11.57 @ 113.28MPH with a 1.50 60' time.
Figured since all was well, I would try the 150 shot next. Blew the tires off, had to get out and back into it again and ended up running an 11.85 @ 115.22MPH with a 1.82 60'.
I am very happy with the new times, but now have some work to do in dialing in my suspension and nitrous controller. In the video below, watch how my truck lifts hard off the line, but then bounces 3 times before finally going straight. I'll get it sorted out, and keep on my quest of running 10.99 on the stock bottom end.
