Drove my buddies Hellcat today.....

A doc I work with bought a Hellcat. Took me to his house today from work and drove his new Hellcat back to the hospital. Pulled in and he says, "you wanna take it around the block?" uh.....ya......

All I can say is Holy @#%#[email protected]#%[email protected]%[email protected]#%$^#@^@#[email protected]#$%#$^#%@

That is the first car I have ever rode in, drove, whatever that I had to seriously think of testing the waters with the pedal to get the nerve to push it to the floor. And that only happened straight line at 70. Was at 110 in a few seconds. Took a vid going from 74-93 and back down to 80 or so and it is only 3 seconds long....lol.

You can feel the TCS fighting the car punching it down at 75. This car is seriously sick. Probably the fastest thing I will ever have had the chance to drive and will be cherished. Good thing is it won't be the last time I at least ride in it....;0)

Yeah, they are a super tight car. Doors shut like a Lexus, bumps don't feel like 3ft deep potholes, etc. But the speed......it just has to be experienced. I can't really explain it and do it justice. I have thought about it all day since I drove it....lol...as I am sure you all can understand.

yes they are nice for sure. drove one into work to fix a tire but didn't go on the road. HP is fun. as long as you respect it you wont get in trouble with it.

HI justhemi,

At 700+hp they ought to be. I know what you are saying about the speed though. I had a 2003 Triumph Sprint ST. Modded exhaust and remapped EFI (Tuneboy) That thing was unreal fast. At 450lbs and 112 RWHP, with 84 Ft LB of torque that thing was like sitting on a bolt of lightning. I would imagine that the Hellcat would be similar.
Congrats....now don't go tradin' that hemi 1500 in on one. BTW highest speed I had the nerve to go was 153mph gps'd. Holy smoke stuff happens adn goes by in a hurry at that speed.

The SRT8 SUPERBEE I had, if I kept it Keith would have put a supercharger on it and it would have made more HP and would have been a lot faster and A WHOLE LOT CHEAPER !! Just saying lol

Not sure about a whole lot faster. 10.8 is a hard et to beat but cheaper for sure. Like half price. That would be more in line w my plan
