Another Pacifica problem

Ok guys the Pacifica is acting up again, this time I have an engine code P2016 which talks about a low circuit to the short runner valve or intake manifold valve. The dealership fix for this problem is to put on a new intake manifold which I can easily do myself since I have taken off the engine 4 or 5 times now just from trying to do so work with the other problem. After talking with the local dealership parts department I learned that Chrysler had the intake redesigned which leads to My question: Does the PCM will need to be reprogramed for this new intake?

Absolutely not. The manifold is a direct replacement redesign. Simply remove your manifold and put new one on do a battery disconnect reset and then drive. The manifold swell in the joint in the middle and cause the vakve to stick and most times break off but cause only odd running issues no damage. Rare instances the valve goes bad internally which yours likely has done and sets a circuit code.

It runs fine as a matter of fact it really freakin scoots. I used SeaFoam intake cleaner on it trying to see if that would help and then took it out for a drive after dong what the can said and I was surprised when it barked the tires shifting into second, however it is also front wheel drive but still.
