Dodge vehicles are tricky. You will need an owners manual I still have not figured out my 2012

You're teaching the opener to respond to the truck, just like teaching the truck to respond to a new key fob. Should be just press the "Train" button on the door opener and within 30 or 60 seconds, press and hold the truck button you want to use for this.

Well I had to break out the owners manual and complete an array of steps but I got it. It was actually kind of difficult but it works. Now I'm screwed if I sell it...lol...I'm gonna have to sell it on here to someone that lives in the bottom half of the country...lol

Nonsense. Just train it to the next vehicle or original remote and you're golden

Wouldn't training it to a different remote do just that? it should only respond to one signal.....
