Mag Hitech tranny pan and warranty

2016 Power Wagon, 42K, 6.4 liter. Tranny took a major dump. Have a Mag Hitech pan on. Anyone have a dealer deny a tranny issue because of this pan? I want this thing repaired ASAP and don’t want to get into a dispute with the dealer. I am familiar with the Magnuson Moss law however I’m thinking of putting the stock pan back on and then bringing it in so I don’t have to worry about the dealer giving me a hard time.

A pan simply holds more fluid and actually makes the trans stronger they cannot dent a warranty with a pan and if they do try you need to stand your ground!

It’s the 6 speed. 666RFE. I just called a dealership service department ( not the one I would use). I said I was considering an aftermarket pan, playing stupid. They said it would void the warranty. I’m putting th OEM back on.

Of course that's bs.. the dealerships are a bunch of thieving bastards. But knowing they are looking for any and all excuses to deny service you would be better off changing the pan back to stock....

When you put the stock pan on, it will be obvious that the pan has been off, that in itself could be a problem. The dealership might think there was tampering done to the tranny.

Your fine, if you had the stock pan on the whole time the trans would of went out earlier.
