Drag Link Recall
I'm sure many of you have knowledge of the Drag Link recall on our trucks. Seems the nuts on either side of the adjusting sleeve may loosen and allow the steering wheel to not be centered anymore. The RAM fix is to weld the nuts to the sleeve to prevent this. A better idea is replace the whole thing with a better design, such as the one from Synergy. If your steering wheel is centered, loosen one nut at a time, clean the threads and apply Loctite, then tighten the nuts against the sleeve.
They will not be welding any adjusting components on our RAM!!
Cheers!!
